History of IIHYA Foundation

2015

A Founder's Vision

Tamarapalli Amitha Royle observed children starving of parental care, daily bread, and education due to poverty, lack of parenting awareness, and illiteracy. With the support of her sister Lavanya Latha (Model School Teacher), she initiated micro-level services by conducting study centers in slums and villages, providing educational support, refreshments, and nutritional requirements to underprivileged children.

Extending Care to the Elderly

Witnessing the suffering of elderly people lacking family attention, living on low or negligible income, and struggling with health issues, Amitha Royle expanded her vision to reach out to distressed elderly. The foundation began dedicated efforts to bring smiles and satisfaction to the lives of senior citizens through regular visits, care, and support.

Medical Emergency Support

On receiving calls and requests from parents, relatives, and friends of persons suffering from various diseases or accident victims, Amitha Royle put forward her vision to extend comprehensive medical support. During emergencies, the foundation requests donors to contribute to the cause, and the pooled amount is provided to affected families, ensuring the best possible medical treatment.

Children Homes & Educational Excellence

Through IIHYA, the foundation not only continued serving the needy but also responded to parents' requests to support children pursuing higher education. The foundation established separate Children Homes for Boys and Girls, providing quality education, nutritious food, shelter, and compassionate care. These homes motivate and encourage children in their studies by setting goals and supporting them in achieving their aspirations.
